Olivia Junholm Music

Bio & Contact

Olivia Junholm is a singer and songwriter from Gothenburg, Sweden. She grew up in a home deeply influenced by music as an artform and a profession. This is where her love for music started. From a young age she started to perform on stages of varying musical genres, both as a soloist and in ensembles.

Olivia graduated from Rytmus Musikergymnasiet Gothenburg (Rytmus School of Music) in 2014, majoring in vocal performance. Her songwriting eventually lead her to attend Sarah Kelly Music School in Houston, Texas. There, in the spring of 2016, she recorded some of her music, which was produced by Sweekman Production. In autumn of 2016, her debut single ”Try” was released, written by the artist herself. After a live interview and performance on the Swedish radiostation P4, the single is still playing on the channel.

In spring 2018, during her songwriting studies at Dalkarlså Folkhögskola, Olivia released her first acoustic music video featuring her song ”Hurry slow”. Today she’s back in her hometown Gothenburg, where she has had the time to dive deeper into her own sound; songs that breathe a mixture of acoustic pop and soul with jazz influences. She has also been playing live at places like; Live at Heart (Örebro), Holy Moly (Gothenburg), So Far Sounds (Oslo), Dirty Records (Gothenburg) and more.

Now, Olivia is hoping to reach her listeners with new material, including her debut EP, which will be released with Light & Salt Records. You can find Olivia’s music on all digital platforms.
