Olivia Junholm is a Los Angeles based, Swedish pop singer/songwriter. Known for her powerful and expressive vocals, that makes crowds go silent. Her music mixes dreamy pop with jazz like influences. A sound of big authentic soulful vocals, blending with catchy melodies, electronic beats and jazzy guitar tunes. Inspired by artists like Emily King, Olivia Rodrigo, Amy Winehouse and Olivia Dean. This promising artist has been featured on magazines like Rolling Stone France and has been in rotation at European radios. 

Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. Olivia grew up in a home deeply influenced by music as an art form and profession, this fostered her growing passion and discipline for the same. She started performing and making music at a very young age, exploring a variety of genres and styles.

”Since early years music has always been a big part of my life, therefore singing and performing came very naturally to me. Growing up with a professional musician and music producer as a dad obviously made an impact. Following him on tour, and running around backstage was a big part of my childhood. And I loved it.”, the artist says.

Olivia graduated from Rytmus School of Music, Gothenburg in 2014, majoring in vocal performance. Her passion for songwriting eventually leads her to attend the Sarah Kelly Music School in Houston, Texas, where she in the spring of 2016 recorded her debut single “Try” produced by Sweekman Production. The song was later released in the fall of 2016 as her debut single. Junholm then returned to Sweden, where she started to develop her career as an independent artist. After several live performances at different Swedish festivals, singing at local clubs in Gothenburg, doing radio interviews and landing two gigs at Sofar Sounds (Sweden & Norway), the artist got her first record deal with Light&Salt Records.

In February 2020, Olivia’s debut EP 'No Rush' was released. Consisting of five songs, all written from the artist’s personal experiences regarding the need to slow down in today’s fast-paced society. The EP has been well-received by respected music magazines and blogs around the world and is available on all streaming platforms.
